Full job description

FormaBuild is looking for a qualified carpenter to join our growing team on the Central Coast.

We are a residential building company focused on high-quality renovations, extensions and detailed carpentry work. We are building a small team around a high standard of workmanship, reliability and pride in the finished product.

We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about their work.

This role would suit a carpenter who takes pride in doing things properly, pays attention to detail, keeps a clean and organised site and wants to be part of a professional team producing high-quality residential work.

Our work includes:

  • High-end residential renovations
  • Extensions and alterations
  • Timber framing
  • Internal and external carpentry
  • Cladding
  • Decks and outdoor areas
  • Doors and windows
  • Fix-out and finishing carpentry
  • Bathrooms, laundries and other renovation works
  • Structural alterations and general building works

We are not looking for someone who simply wants to turn up, complete the minimum required and go home.

We want someone who:

  • Keeps their work area and job site clean

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Current driver's licence
  • Reliable transport
  • Own standard carpentry tools
  • Residential carpentry experience
  • Ability to read plans and carry out work accurately
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and professional attitude

Extra Information:

  • Full-time position
  • Approximately 38 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Applicable allowances and superannuation paid in accordance with the relevant award

Most of our work is located across the Central Coast, with occasional projects in surrounding areas.
