Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from commercial building plans and drawings
  • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures (timber, steel, composites)
  • Complete framework, fit-outs, formwork, partitions, and general carpentry
  • Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors to meet project timelines
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and site procedures
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment
  • (Leading Hand) Supervise small teams and ensure quality standards on-site
  • (Leading Hand) Assist in scheduling, materials planning, and job tracking

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in commercial carpentry (minimum 3 years preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed construction plans
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Leadership experience for Leading Hand role
