We foster a learning culture that allows for us to continually invest in our employees ensuring a long-term career here at EML.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Join our claims team in Sydney in our Emergency Services portfolios. You will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

We are seeking individuals from a strong Customer Service background who may have a degree within Health Sciences, Allied Health or from a Legal background. A degree in the following areas would be highly beneficial but not essential. Experience in any of these areas or similar is very desirable.

You’ll be the key point of connection, working closely with injured workers, employers, and treatment providers to guide each journey back to work. No two days are the same, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting recovery, problem-solving along the way, and making a genuine difference in people’s lives.

This will be a permanent, full-time position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.

  • Manage a portfolio of workers’ compensation claims, supporting individuals with both physical and psychological injuries
  • Work closely with injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, and rehabilitation providers to achieve positive return-to-work outcomes
  • Apply your understanding of health and recovery to implement proactive, tailored strategies
  • Play a key role in supporting individuals through their recovery journey, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and empowered

ABOUT YOU

  • You’re someone who is passionate about making a meaningful impact and enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
  • You bring a strong foundation in health, allied health, or a related field, and are eager to apply your knowledge in a new and rewarding way.
  • A strong communicator who can confidently navigate complex or sensitive conversations
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to think creatively when working with diverse stakeholders
  • Committed to delivering a high standard of service and building genuine, trusting relationships
