Medical Receptionist - Junior/Fresher - Casual - Robina

We are seeking a Junior/Fresher Medical Receptionist with exceptional customer service skills for a busy GP Clinic in Robina, which includes 6 Doctors, 1 Nurse, and onsite pathology.

This position is well-suited for candidates with strong communication skills who are looking to begin or build their career as a Medical Receptionist.

This position is ideal for:

  • School Leavers
  • Gap Year Students
  • Candidates seeking their first office or healthcare administration role
  • Anyone looking to build a long-term career in healthcare

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Welcoming patients with a warm smile and outstanding customer service
  • Assisting with incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Managing and scheduling patient appointments and data entry
  • Providing administrative support to the clinical team as required
  • Maintain cleanliness of clinic and treatment rooms
  • Providing GP assistance where required within scope of receptionist role.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, courteous phone manner.
  • Compassionate and caring in nature
  • Able to work from 7 AM - 2PM
  • A willingness to learn and display initiative
  • Time management, Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Neat and professional presentation
  • Basic Computer Skills (We will train you to use of Medical Directory software)
  • Australian/NZ Citizenship/PR holder
