Casual, Medical Receptionist jobs in Perth WA

Hollywood GP is seeking a motivated and experienced medical receptionist to join our team in the heart of the Medical District in Nedlands on a casual basis.

As a receptionist at Hollywood GP, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, managing appointments, answering phone calls, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.

Your Responsibilities will include:

• Operating a multi-line telephone system
• Patient Booking Management
• Providing excellent customer service skills to patients
• Accurately registering patients, collect, and updating their personal and Medicare Information
• Processing billing and Medicare claims
• Maintaining Privacy and Confidentiality, and ensure data security
• Open and Close Practice as per set Procedure

This position offers a wide variety of tasks so the ability to multi- task and a high attention to detail is essential.

Essential criteria:

• Prior experience in the medical sector
• Excellent phone manner, communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer competency
• Patient-focused and adaptable
• Team player
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Permanent Australian residents or hold a current, valid working visa

Desirable criteria:

• Experience in and a sound working knowledge of Best Practice software
• Understand and abide by infection prevention principles
• Prior administration experience in a General Practice

Pay: $27.00 – $38.00 per hour
