Casual Event Crew

Do not apply if you do not hold a White Card (CPCWHS1001) or a National Police Certificate.

About the Role

As part of our Casual Event Crew, you’ll work across a variety of sites doing physical, fast-paced work that brings awe to the world.

You’ll be:

  • Building and packing down stages, audio, lighting, screens, fencing, truss, marquees, signage, and installations
  • Loading/unloading trucks and gear
  • Supporting audio/visual production teams
  • Helping with crowd control, backline moves, and general site setup
  • Working in a team that gets things done and has fun doing it

What You’ll Get

  • $33.50–$90/hr, depending on your skills, shift type, and consistency
  • Penalty rates for Sundays/PH's, late nights, and overtime
  • Fortnightly pay direct to your bank
  • Work outdoors at major events with flexible shift options
  • Clear progression path: learn on the job and step into specialist or machine operator roles
  • No suit. No office. Just boots, hard hats, and fun builds

What We’re Looking For

No experience necessary – we hire on attitude.

We want people who:

  • Are reliable, punctual, and ready to work
  • Enjoy hands-on, physical work
  • Can follow instructions, work in a team, and bring good energy to the crew
  • Are willing to learn and keen to get involved in the events industry
  • Handy with tools: If you've hung something on a wall, built IKEA furniture and measured and cut timber to length, you're at the level we need.

You’ll need:

  • White Card CPCWHS1001 (required)
  • Steel caps, hard hat, and an amazing work ethic
  • Ability to lift, carry, and stay on your feet for long shifts

  • Bonus if you have a driver’s licence, Forklift/EWP ticket, or events experience
