Chef - Casual

$29.46 + 25% Casual Loading + 12% Super

Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record, working with some of the most prestigious venues and corporations in the world. From grand gala events, corporate cocktail parties to intimate gatherings, we provide bespoke food solutions and exceptional dining experiences.

You’ll be working under our head chef culinary operations for a prestigious corporate client, focusing on fine dining, executive catering, and polished corporate events—Monday to Friday, with occasional evening functions.

THE POSITION

  • Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
  • Friendly customer service
  • HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
  • General kitchen and cleaning duties as required.

THE PERSON

  • Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)
  • Can be highly organised & fast paced
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Experience in function work and large volume kitchen preferable
  • Basic understanding of OH&S regulations, food safety & HACCP compliance
