Restaurant Manager – Full Time

Room 19 is a popular Asian fusion brunch destination located on Rundle Street, Adelaide. Known for our innovative menu, specialty coffee, and exceptional customer service, we are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue and support our continued growth.

Location: Adelaide SA

Salary: $75, 000plus superannuation based on years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

-Managing the daily operations of the café and ensuring smooth service delivery.

-Planning and organising dining service activities to maximise customer satisfaction.

-Monitoring revenue, controlling costs, and assisting with budgeting and financial performance.

-Recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering front-of-house staff.

-Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and liquor licensing requirements.

-Managing customer enquiries, feedback, and service recovery where required.

-Monitoring stock levels and coordinating purchasing activities.

-Working closely with kitchen staff to maintain food quality and service standards.

-Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

-Assisting with promotional activities and business development initiatives.

Skills and Experience

-Diploma level qualification or higher in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

-Minimum 1 year of relevant management experience in a café or restaurant environment.

-Strong leadership and team management skills.

-Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

-Sound understanding of hospitality operations, budgeting, and staff management.

-Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
