Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team. The role involves supporting people with high-intensity disabilities to achieve their personal goals, enhance their independence, and participate in the community. Our support workers provide a range of in-home and community-based services, including personal care, domestic assistance, social support, daytime activities, and transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation (Personal Care).
- Provide support for community engagement, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Offer companionship and encouragement to enhance clients' social connections and independence.
- Implement individualised support plans and document progress, and supporting NDIS goals/plans.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all clients.
- Effective communication, compassion, and willingness to learn!
Additional Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Police Check
- Drivers license + own car
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach.
- Have an TFN (or ABN and required insurances if applying for a Contractor role)
