About the Role

WesTrac is seeking a skilled and experienced Window Tinter to join our New Machines workshop in Tomago.

This is a specialist tinting role, focused on delivering high-quality finishes on brand-new Caterpillar machinery in a controlled workshop environment. Unlike mobile or retail roles, you will work on new equipment only, allowing you to focus on precision, consistency and workmanship.

While the primary focus of this role is window tinting, you may also provide light workshop support to assist trade teams as required.

Roster & Rates

2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights (early finish Fridays)
Rates from $38.84 p/hr + overtime $58.26 p/hr* *Final rates based on experience and competency

Key Responsibilities

Professionally apply window tint to new heavy machinery
Measure, cut and fit film to large and complex glass surfaces
Deliver consistent, high-quality, defect-free finishes
Safely remove and refit trims, seals and panels where required
Prepare machines and work areas for scheduled builds
Provide general workshop support to trades when required

Essential Criteria (Must Have)

Proven experience as a Window Tinter (automotive, commercial or machinery)
Ability to cut and apply tint independently to a high standard
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Valid Driver’s Licence

Highly Regarded

Experience tinting large or curved glass panels
Workshop or heavy equipment environment exposure
High Risk Work Licence (Forklift)
