El Jannah is an iconic Australian brand that began in 1998 in Granville, Sydney, with a simple idea: serve honest, soulful Lebanese-Australian food that brings people together. More than two decades on, our legendary charcoal chicken, bold flavours and energetic restaurants continue to create experiences guests love across Australia.

About the Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team as Restaurant Team Members, working in either Front of House (FOH) or Back of House (BOH). This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll work alongside a great team, keep the energy high, and help create memorable experiences for our guests. No previous experience is required, with full training provided on the job.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your role, your responsibilities may include:

Front of House (FOH):

  • Welcoming guests and delivering friendly, efficient service
  • Taking orders and packing meals accurately
  • Supporting service flow during busy periods
  • Maintaining cleanliness across counters, dining areas and guest spaces
  • Following WHS requirements and reporting hazards or incidents

Back of House (BOH):

  • Preparing menu items such as burgers, rolls, salads and fried products
  • Cooking freezer-to-fryer items in line with safety and quality standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in kitchen and prep areas
  • Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils and equipment
  • Following WHS requirements and reporting hazards or incidents

What We’re Looking For

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and follow procedures
  • Attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • A team-first mindset with respectful communication
  • Availability to work flexible rosters, including evenings and weekends
  • Previous fast food or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential

Why Join El Jannah

  • Be part of an iconic Australian brand with a strong culture
  • Learn valuable skills through structured, on-the-job training
  • Work in a supportive and inclusive team environment
  • Enjoy a fun, energetic workplace where every shift matters

If you’re ready to be part of a team that cares about great food, great service and working well together, we’d love to hear from you.
