We are currently seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our Perth team.

Position Summary

The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's network infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure network reliability, security, and performance while supporting ongoing technology initiatives and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and security issues.
  • Manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN solutions.
  • Ensure network availability, reliability, and security across all business systems.
  • Perform network upgrades, patches, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Implement and support disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects and technology deployments.
  • Monitor network capacity and recommend scalability improvements.
  • Respond to network incidents and provide timely resolution of technical issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.
  • Experience with enterprise networking equipment and firewall technologies.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization tools.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and network security best practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cloud networking technologies including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with network automation and scripting tools.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments.
