Change Lead

Lead Meaningful Transformation

Defence Health is seeking an experienced Enterprise Change Lead to drive the people side of transformation across key strategic programs, including operating model, leadership, culture and ways of working initiatives. Working within the Transformation Office and partnering closely with the PMO, you'll ensure change is embedded into delivery, enabling successful adoption, minimising risk and delivering sustainable business outcomes. The role is focussed on supporting people change and is not linked to a technology or system-led program of work.

About the Role

As a trusted advisor to senior leaders and program sponsors, you will:

  • Lead enterprise-wide change strategies across major transformation programs.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, readiness and adoption planning.
  • Partner with the PMO to integrate change into governance, delivery plans and reporting.
  • Coach leaders to effectively lead and embed change.
  • Support people through change not driven by systems or technology
  • Manage change risks, organisational readiness and change capacity across multiple initiatives.
  • Develop and improve enterprise change frameworks, tools and capability.


About You

You will bring:

  • Significant experience leading enterprise change and transformation programs in complex organisations.
  • Proven success delivering cultural and ways of working transformation.
  • Strong organisational change management expertise and methodology knowledge.
  • Experience integrating change management with program and portfolio delivery.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and leadership coaching skills.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience using data to inform change decisions.


Desirable

  • Formal change management certification (e.g. Prosci).
  • Experience in health, insurance or other regulated industries.
  • Exposure to operating model transformation, organisation design or enterprise-wide cultural change programs.
