Join us in shaping the future of healthcare across NSW
Mid North Coast Local Health District is seeking an experienced and passionate Change Adoption Lead to play a pivotal role in one of the largest digital transformation initiatives in NSW Health – the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) Program.
The SDPR Program will consolidate major patient administration and electronic medical record systems into a single statewide platform, creating a more connected, efficient and patient-centred healthcare experience across NSW.
As the Change Adoption Lead, you will work within the Digital Health Directorate, partnering with clinical, operational and executive stakeholders to drive change readiness, engagement and adoption across MNCLHD. Your expertise in leading organisational change, stakeholder engagement and large-scale project implementation will be critical to ensuring our workforce is prepared, supported and empowered throughout this transformative journey.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced change management professional who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about supporting people through change.
You will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive change and adoption strategies, ensuring staff at all levels are engaged, informed and ready to embrace new ways of working. Working closely with leaders, managers and frontline teams, you will identify potential barriers, assess organisational readiness and implement practical solutions that support successful program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver change management and adoption strategies to support successful implementation of the SDPR Program across MNCLHD.
- Conduct organisational change readiness and cultural assessments to identify opportunities, risks and targeted improvement activities.
- Lead change impact assessments, facilitate stakeholder workshops and document outcomes, risks and mitigation strategies.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and implement engagement strategies that encourage consultation, collaboration and commitment to change.
- Drive communication, training and engagement activities that support workforce readiness and adoption.
- Provide expert advice, reports, presentations and updates to stakeholders and program leaders.
- Support program continuity through effective knowledge transfer, stakeholder management and communication planning.
- Coach and support frontline managers and supervisors to effectively lead their teams through change.
- Promote a culture of patient safety, clinical excellence, innovation and continuous quality improvement.
About You
You are a highly skilled change management professional with demonstrated experience leading change initiatives in large, complex organisations. You are an exceptional communicator and facilitator who can influence, engage and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience developing and implementing organisational change and adoption strategies.
- Experience supporting large-scale digital, clinical or transformational projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to assess change impacts, organisational readiness and workforce adoption requirements.
- Experience coaching leaders and supporting teams through periods of significant change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation development.
- Knowledge of healthcare environments, clinical workflows or health service delivery will be highly regarded.
At MNCLHD, you will be part of a collaborative and innovative team committed to improving healthcare outcomes for our communities. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the way healthcare is delivered across NSW by supporting one of the state's most significant digital health transformations.
If you are passionate about leading change, building capability and helping people successfully adopt new ways of working, we encourage you to apply.
