Elegance Management is seeking a talented Private Chef/House Manager to join a busy family based in Melbourne. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a private household environment and manage all culinary and property operations.

What you'll be doing
  • Plan, prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals for the household
  • Manage the kitchen and ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
  • Oversee the provisioning, storage and inventory of all food, beverage and supplies
  • Coordinate and supervise staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations
  • Liaise with household teams to delivery seamless preparation for arrival of family & guests
  • Collaborate with staff to deliver higher service levels where needed
  • Oversee maintenance & repair schedules for all properties
  • Travel when required, as the families Private Chef

What we're looking for
  • Formal culinary training and significant experience as a Chef in a private household
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation and menu planning
  • Capable of sourcing high quality produce
  • Excellent time management, multitasking and organisational skills
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences & events
  • House/Estate Management experience
  • A high level of attention to detail with organisation and care in all areas
  • Proactive team player, able to delegate and coordinate a busy schedule
  • Flexible, accommodating, positive, calm, extremely organised, capable, career focused
  • Strong security awareness and appreciation of privacy
  • Discreet and have the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Current Police Check
  • Current Working with Children Check
