Mezzalira Ristorante, Canberra’s leading Italian dining institution located in the heart of the CBD, is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Time Chef to join our elite kitchen team.

Remuneration & Benefits:
Base Salary: $79,500 – $85,000 per annum (plus superannuation, commensurate with experience)
Visa Pathway: Sponsorship available after 3 months of demonstrated performance

Position & Roster Details:
Employment Type: Full-Time
Roster: Monday to Saturday (Split shifts Tuesday–Friday: Morning/Evening; Saturday: Evening only)
Location: Canberra CBD, ACT

Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Operations: Cook, prepare, and monitor the quality of authentic Italian dishes at all stages of presentation.
Management Support: Assist in menu planning, estimating food/labour costs, and ordering kitchen supplies.
Leadership: Demonstrate advanced cooking techniques, advise on procedures, and train/supervise junior kitchen staff.
Compliance: Maintain strict food hygiene, safety standards, and handle high-pressure service with a professional attitude.

Pay: $79,500.00 – $85,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
