Full job description

Position: Chef
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum

We are seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Full-Time Chef specialising in Indian cuisine to join our busy restaurant, known for serving authentic Indian flavours.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food for bookings, catering orders, and walk-in customers
  • Menu planning and pricing
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, occupational health and safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff
  • Check the quality of food items and conduct stocktakes
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Indian cuisine is highly desirable
  • Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
