Full job description

We are looking for Full-Time Chef to work in our busy establishment at CHASKA Seven Hills, Sydney.

As a chef you are expected to perform duties, not limited to, as below:
-Plan, collect, organize food for menus.
-Plan menus, recipes and task sheets.
-Cook items on menus and specials as required.
-Prepare and use specialized kitchen equipment.
-Plan and organize efficient work sequences within time restraints.
-Communicate with other staff members in kitchen team and food service staff

-Work cooperatively with other members of the kitchen team.
-Demonstrate a high standard of personal hygiene.
-Ensures high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout kitchen area.
-Assemble and prepare ingredients for menu items.
-Manage stock efficiently and prepare order sheets.
-Minimise food spoilage.
-Comply with all work-related policies and procedures.
-Responsible for day-to-day kitchen operation (Curry and Tandoor sections).

The ideal candidate for the position of a Chef in our restaurant needs to have at least 1 years or more working experience in an Indian or similar and should have worked in all sections of kitchen. The candidate should be able to handle work pressure and have a good sense of food hygiene and food preparation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
