Full job description

Chef – Mallacoota Golf & Country Club

Cook beside the ocean.

Mallacoota Golf & Country Club is looking for an experienced Chef to join our friendly team in one of Victoria’s most beautiful coastal communities.

This is a full-time role with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our kitchen, preparing good-quality, approachable meals for members, locals and visitors.

The role includes:

  • Preparing and cooking meals for regular service and functions
  • Menu planning and seasonal specials
  • Ordering, stock control and managing food costs
  • Maintaining excellent food safety and kitchen standards
  • Working with and supporting our kitchen team
  • Catering for golf tournaments, functions and community events

About you

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable and organised Chef who can work independently and as part of a small team. You’ll take pride in producing consistently good food and creating a welcoming dining experience.

Commercial cookery qualifications or equivalent experience are preferred.
