Join Our Brand-New Café Team!

Leaf Café & Co is expanding, and we're excited to open our brand-new café in Meadowbank!

We are looking for a passionate, experienced and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new café opening, work in a modern kitchen environment and help us deliver high-quality food and an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes.
  • Maintain consistency in food quality, taste and presentation.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Assist with food preparation, stock control and inventory management.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Contribute ideas to improve kitchen efficiency and menu offerings.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a chef in a busy café or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of modern Australian café cuisine.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
