Full job description

Our restaurant is a welcoming place for friends and families to enjoy quality food and ambience. As a well-established venue, we are currently seeking a full-time Indian curry Chef with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience to join our kitchen team.

Plan, prepare and cook a wide range of menu items in accordance with the restaurant’s standards and recipes Design and update menus in consultation with management, including costing and portion control Ensure food quality, presentation and consistency meet customer expectations

Monitor and manage kitchen operations during service periods Supervise, train and coordinate kitchen staff and apprentices Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards in line with WHS and local council regulations

Manage stock levels, place orders and minimise food wastage Ensure correct storage, handling and rotation of food supplies Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting service timelines
