This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys a fast-paced, highly structured environment and can deliver consistent, high-quality meals while meeting strict airline/aviation specifications and HACCP food safety requirements. • Maintain strict temperature control, labelling, and traceability documentation in line with HACCP
  • Manage allergens and dietary requirements with strong attention to detail
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and cleaning standards across all kitchen areas
  • Work closely with packing and dispatch teams to meet tight flight schedules and last-minute changes
  • Assist with prep planning, stock rotation, and minimising waste

Skills, qualifications & experience required

  • Formal culinary qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade qualification)
  • Minimum 6+ months’ experience in an aviation catering kitchen (high-volume catering preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a high volume commercial kitchen
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and strict adherence to HACCP / food safety and allergen management
  • Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced production environment with tight deadlines
  • Experience with cook-and-chill or batch production is highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day roster with shifts that fluctuate based on flight requirements (early starts / late finishes may apply)
  • Ability to pass aviation security and background checks required for airside access

What we offer

  • Stable full-time role in an essential aviation services environment
  • A varied catering operation (commercial + VIP charter)
  • Clear processes, strong safety culture, and on-the-job site training
  • Supportive team and consistent standards
