We also provide a comprehensive range of equipment and products, supporting the mining, oil & gas, and construction industries across Australia and internationally.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering engineering projects across mining, oil and gas, and industrial sectors. You will work closely with project managers, clients, engineers, supervisors, and site personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects from commencement through to completion.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Prepare project schedules, work programs, budgets, cost estimates, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate engineering, fabrication, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure milestones, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
  • Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions to minimise project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, engineering specifications, contractual obligations, and company procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress reports, project documentation, and engineering correspondence.
  • Assist with tender preparation, cost planning, and contract administration.
  • Conduct site inspections and support project delivery teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of works.
  • Promote and maintain compliance with workplace health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of full-time experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
  • Experience delivering mining, industrial, fabrication, maintenance, shutdown, or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, engineering principles, contract administration, and project delivery.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
