About the Role

In this dual leadership role, you will work in close partnership with the Centre Director to balance operational excellence with strong pedagogical leadership across all rooms.

As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will:

  • Work alongside the Centre Director to lead the day-to-day operations of the service
  • Act as Responsible Person when required
  • Lead, mentor, and coach educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS
  • Drive a culture of critical reflection and continuous improvement across all rooms
  • Guide educators in curriculum planning, documentation, and assessment for learning
  • Support compliance, policy implementation, and quality assurance processes
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families, children, and the community
  • Drive and sustain Exceeding outcomes across all Quality Areas
  • Actively build and influence a high-performing team culture
  • Create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and Exceeding Themes
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and inspire educators
  • Sound understanding of compliance, regulations, and service operations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident documentation and computer skills
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused leadership style
  • Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
