Full job description

  • Flexible permanent full-time role based in our Ipswich office

Kanda is seeking a hands-on Case Manager to join our growing Children, Youth & Family Services team full-time in Ipswich. This role supports young people in residential care whilst leading a small team of residential care workers, ensuring safe, consistent, and person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of residential care workers to deliver consistent, high-quality care
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individual plans to meet the needs of young people
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners to ensure coordinated, holistic support
  • Ensure mandatory reporting and administrative tasks are completed with accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in supervision, team meetings, and stakeholder discussions to support communication and continuous improvement
  • Provide direct care support to young people as needed to maintain continuity of care
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in children, youth & family services or similar sector at a manager or supervisor level
  • Qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree) in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Social Work or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of Child Protection principles and working with government/non-government agencies
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid drivers licence, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
