Full job description

Your Key Responsibilities:

Provide confidential and accurate administrative support to the CPCU team including opening and closing files, data entry, filing, processing forms, sending letters and requests for information.
Accurate data entry to record outcomes, dispute types and complete pays for sessional staff
Liaise and schedule telephone appointments with correctional facilities
Answer phone calls in a professional manner and provide information about the operation of CPCU and the services provided by the Dispute Resolution Branch (DRB) to the public and others
Manage telephone messages and email enquiries to the CPCU.
Quickly develop knowledge of the Dispute Resolution Centres Act 1990 and Child Protection Act 1999 and other relevant policies and legislation.
Assist in the organisation / scheduling of court ordered conferences, facilitations, meetings, functions and special events as required
Maintain and operate computer-based word processing, spreadsheets and databases
Analyse monthly spread sheets and statistical information as required
Participate productively and cooperatively as a member of the team.
Other tasks as allocated by the Manager or Case Coordinator by delegation

Technical skills, abilities and cultural capabilities:

Completes workload within established timeframes and adjusts priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
Communicates effectively with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.
Communicates effectively with First Nations people through applying culturally safe, sensitive and supportive language.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, but also Outlook, Word and Teams as well as the ability to learn the DRB database Mediation Organiser.
Maintains a high standard of record keeping in accordance with record keeping protocols and timeframes.
Enter data with a high degree of accuracy and provide analysis of statistical data.
