AXIA Solutions is a leading provider of Supervised Transport and Supervised Contact Services across NSW.

We work in partnership with child protection services to support children and young people in Out of Home Care, ensuring they can safely access family time, education, appointments, and community activities.

This role is ideal for people who want meaningful, hands-on work supporting children and young people

What you will be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Safely transport children and young people to and from school, appointments, family visits, and community activities
  • Supervise children during transport and scheduled contact visits
  • Ensure children’s safety, wellbeing, and emotional needs are supported at all times
  • Provide calm, consistent, and positive role-modelling
  • Maintain accurate written records following visits and interactions
  • Report any concerns regarding safety or Risk of Significant Harm to management
  • Communicate professionally with coordinators and support staff

Travel may include local and regional areas depending on client needs

Shift times

We are currently seeking staff with availability for either:

  • Morning shifts: 6:30am – 9:30am
  • OR
  • Afternoon shifts: 2:00pm – 4:30pmMinimum availability of 3 shifts per week

is required.

Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and public holidays depending on service demand.

Essential requirements

  • Current Working With Children Check (paid employment)
  • National Police Check (issued within last 12 months)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Full unrestricted Australian driver’s licence (P1/P2 not accepted)
  • Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle (minimum 2 anchor points)
  • Excellent driving record
  • Mobile phone with internet access
  • Ability to drive long distances when required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High level of professionalism and personal presentation
  • Ability to safely support children up to 25kg if required
  • Understanding of child safety, confidentiality, and mandatory reporting expectations
  • Minimum availability of 3 shifts per week (morning or afternoon)

Desirable experience

  • Experience working with children, infants, or young people
  • Study in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related fields
  • Access to child car restraints (AS1754 compliant – forward facing + booster seat)
  • Experience managing challenging behaviours
  • Passion for child safety and community support work
