About the Business:

BANKSTOWN CHILDCARE ACADEMY PTY LTD (Punchbowl NSW 2196) is a well-

established long day care centre operating since 2010. The centre caters to children

aged between 2 and 5 years and is licensed for 28 places. We are committed to

providing a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment that supports children’s

learning and development. Our team values collaboration, respect, and strong

partnerships with families and the community.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Worker to join our

team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care

and education to children while ensuring a safe, supportive, and stimulating

environment in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National

Quality Standards (NQS).

Key Responsibilities

Child Care & Supervision:

Provide attentive care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing,

and development at all times.

Program Implementation:

Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational programs that

support children’s learning and development in accordance with EYLF.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment in line with centre policies and

regulatory requirements.

Child Development Support:

Observe and document children’s progress and contribute to individual learning

plans.

Family Engagement:

Build positive relationships with families and communicate effectively regarding

children’s development and daily activities.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with educators and management to ensure consistent, high-

quality care and service delivery.

Behaviour Guidance:

Support children in developing positive behaviours, social skills, and emotional

wellbeing.

Position Requirements

 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher qualification)

 Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience in a childcare setting

 Sound understanding of EYLF and National Quality Standards

 Current Working With Children Check (NSW)

 Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 Ability to work effectively in a team environment

 Genuine passion for working with children

Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred.
