Kanda is seeking dedicated team members to provide meaningful support to people with disabilities. In this role, you will:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities.
• Monitor and document client progress and care provided.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care.

Requirements:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
• Working with Children check or be willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
• Valid unrestricted drivers licence and reliable vehicle
• Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings, sleepovers)
• Experience assisting clients within physical disability and mental health
• Experience assisting clients within all personal care, manual handling and Hoisting
• Holding Medication and Manual Handling certificates
