Our Recreation Services team at Lords Recreation Centre are looking for Casual Creche Assistants to join the team in providing a fun, safe and professional environment

In joining the team you will be responsible for the following:

• Caring and supervising children aged 8 weeks to 9 years old.
• Treat each child with respect and dignity, taking into consideration any cultural, socio-economic, or other differences.
• Maintain all equipment to an excellent condition, in conjunction with Work Health and Safety regulations.
• Assist with maintaining accurate records for each child in care.
• Ensure the creche services policies and procedures are adhered to

The essential requirements for this position include:

• Maintained Working with Children check
• Maintained Senior First Aid certificate
• Working knowledge of rules, regulations and guidelines advocated by national and key industry bodies governing conduct of creche and child care facilities
• Working knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation and all legislation pertaining to child care.
• Highly developed and proven interpersonal, written, organisational and communication skills.

Hourly Rate: $35.36 per hour, inclusive of casual loading

We are currently looking for people who have availability over across June and July, including both weekdays adn weekends.
