Haidilao Darling Square | Competitive Pay – Hiring Experienced Hospitality Professionals & Management Talent

Due to continued business growth, Haidilao Hot Pot Darling Square is currently recruiting experienced hospitality professionals across Sydney.

We are not only looking for general team members — we also welcome experienced hospitality professionals with strong technical skills, management experience, and an interest in long-term career development to join our team.

2. Pay & Benefits

Pay will be determined based on the position, relevant qualifications, hospitality experience, demonstrated skills, and overall capability.

  • Applicants without relevant qualifications or experience: from $26.44 per hour
  • Experienced hospitality staff with relevant qualifications: approximately $30–$35 per hour
  • Applicants with relevant qualifications, professional cookery/chef credentials, hospitality training certificates, or management experience: approximately $35–$40 per hour
  • Highly experienced managers, candidates with extensive large-scale restaurant experience, or those capable of leading and developing a team: higher remuneration may be negotiated based on experience and capability

Final remuneration will be determined based on the position level, work experience, qualifications and certificates, trial performance, and overall capability.

3. Preferred Applicants

Preference may be given to applicants who hold stable and lawful Australian work rights and are available for long-term employment, including:

  • Australian Citizens
  • Australian Permanent Residents
  • Subclass 482 visa holders
  • Subclass 485 Temporary Graduate visa holders
  • Working Holiday visa holders
  • Holders of other visas with suitable and stable work rights

Applicants with a longer remaining visa validity and the ability to work consistently on a long-term basis will be highly regarded.

4. Relevant Qualifications Highly Regarded

Applicants holding any of the following Australian hospitality qualifications, or an equivalent professional background, will be highly regarded:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Certificate III in Asian Cookery
  • Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
  • Certificate IV in Asian Cookery
  • Diploma of Hospitality Management
  • NSW Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • RSA Certificate
  • Other relevant qualifications in commercial cookery, food safety, hospitality management, or hotel management

Applicants with overseas chef qualifications, cookery-related qualifications, or substantial management experience within large hospitality businesses are also encouraged to apply. Relevant documentation may be provided for assessment.

5. General Position Requirements

Applicants should:

  • Have practical experience relevant to the position applied for and be capable of performing the role independently
  • Be familiar with front-of-house service, kitchen operations, food production, or restaurant operations
  • Demonstrate strong awareness of food safety, hygiene, quality, and cost control
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-standard hospitality environment
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
  • Be able to work according to reasonable business rostering requirements
  • Be reliably available on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays
  • Be available for morning, evening, and rotating shifts
  • Be fluent in Chinese and have good English communication skills

6. Management Position Requirements

Applicants for Supervisor, Manager, or Management Team positions will be highly regarded if they have experience in:

  • Managing large-scale chain restaurants or high-volume hospitality venues
  • Staff rostering, training, daily operations, and team management
  • Handling customer complaints and improving guest satisfaction
  • Managing food safety, hygiene standards, and product quality
  • Labour cost, wastage, inventory, and operational cost control
  • Developing and implementing restaurant improvement plans
  • Leading teams to achieve business targets and service standards

Experienced hospitality management teams, or multiple managers who have previously worked successfully together, are also welcome to apply.
