Medical Receptionist ( 2 to 3 days per week )

An exciting opportunity exists to join a friendly front office team at an busy medical facility in Ivanhoe.

We are an established day hospital specialising in the high quality gastroenterology service.

We are looking for applicants who can offer the following attributes.

  • able to work Mondays Tuesdays Wednesday Thursday and Fridays. No weekends work. You must state your days available in your application
  • flexible in working days and hours to cover when other receptionists are on leave
  • Business hours between 7.30 am to 6 pm in 8 hour shift
  • well presented with excellent customer service skills
  • capacity to work at a fast pace.
  • previous experience as a receptionist or in administrative work preferred.
  • excellent computer skills as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • fluent in both written and spoken English. A second language particularly Chinese is also very useful
  • someone who is looking for a medium to long term position.
  • you are located within a reasonable distance from Ivanhoe. Please state your locality in application.
  • enjoy working with a small friendly team in a centre located near a railway station and some nice nearby cafes and restaurants.
  • initially a casual position but possible to be offered permanent position after 12 month review.
  • wages according to experience.
