Full job description

Tourstory is seeking a responsible and customer-oriented Driving Tour Guide to join our growing travel operations team in Sydney.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the road, enjoys interacting with international travelers, and is passionate about providing a safe and enjoyable travel experience.

As a driving tour guide, you will be responsible for operating our company vehicles (12-seater Toyota HiAce Commuter) on scheduled day tours and charter services across Sydney and surrounding regions such as Blue Mountain National Park, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Wollongong and South Highland.

You will work closely with our team to ensure smooth operations and deliver high-quality service to guests from international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive 12-seater vehicles for day tours.
  • Follow planned itineraries and maintain on-time departures.
  • Provide simple commentary or communication support when required (in English, Chinese, or Korean depending on your language ability).
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, conduct pre-departure checks, and report any mechanical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with NSW road laws and passenger safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • a valid Australian C-Class Full Licence
  • a valid Passenger Transport Licence Code (PTLC)
  • Clean or acceptable driving record in accordance with NSW transport standards
  • a valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) would be better!
  • Ability to speak English and Chinese or English and Korean to support communication with our majority customer base
  • Legal work right in Australia
