Full job description

KHG Contracting is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Civil Construction Operators for upcoming projects across various sites throughout Western Australia.

We are currently in the tendering and project planning phase and are building a talent pool of skilled operators for future opportunities.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced operators with demonstrated competency operating one or more of the following:

  • Moxy / Articulated Dump Truck
  • Dozer
  • Excavator
  • Loader

Successful candidates will be involved in a variety of civil construction and earthworks activities, working safely and efficiently to achieve project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements
  • Perform bulk earthworks, road construction, rehabilitation, drainage, and civil works activities
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
  • Identify and report maintenance requirements
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and project teams
  • Adhere to all site safety procedures and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

About You

  • Proven experience operating civil construction machinery
  • Current and relevant machinery tickets and VOCs
  • Ability to work on a 14/7 roster
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
