Fiona Stanley Hospital is one of Western Australia’s largest tertiary public hospitals, known for its strong focus on research, education and multidisciplinary patient care.
In this role, you’ll be actively involved in delivering high‑quality clinical trials, working closely with Investigators and multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced, collaborative and values‑driven environment.
You’ll make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while developing your skills and growing your career with an organisation that genuinely invests in its people.
More specifically, you will
- Coordinate and deliver clinical research activities in line with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and all regulatory requirements
- Partner closely with Principal and Co‑Investigators to manage day‑to‑day trial activities
- Support efficient study start‑up, participant recruitment, study visits, monitoring, and close‑out activities
- Maintain accurate and complete study documentation, regulatory files, and data entry within required timelines
- Conduct protocol‑specific study visits and clinical tasks (e.g. vitals, ECGs, venepuncture, sample processing) as deemed competent
- Act as a key point of contact for study participants, sponsors, and internal stakeholders
- Liaise with hospital departments, third‑party providers, and sponsor representatives to ensure smooth trial delivery
- Prepare for and host monitoring and site visits, addressing queries in a timely manner
- Complete mandatory and trial‑specific training and contribute to quality, safety, and compliance activities
We’re interested in hearing from people who
- Hold an undergraduate degree in Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related discipline
- Have at least two years’ experience in nursing, research, or a scientific setting
- Bring a solid understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial regulations
- Are highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Communicate confidently and enjoy building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Show initiative and flexibility, and work well both independently and as part of a team
- Are comfortable using computer systems, including MS Office and clinical trial software
- Can work flexibly across locations and are willing to travel interstate if required
