FOOD & BEVERAGE ATTENDANT - Marina Tavern

Perched on the waterfront with spectacular views over Hamilton Island Marina, Marina Tavern is the island’s favourite spot for casual dining and drinks. With indoor seating and a relaxed outdoor deck, guests enjoy a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere in one of the island’s most social venues.

From classic pub favourites like steak, schnitzel, and fresh salads to smoky BBQ-inspired dishes served alfresco, Marina Tavern truly offers something for everyone. The venue is also home to The Palms – a specialty dining area serving signature share platters with in-house smoked meats, slow-cooked over 12 hours and paired with delicious sides and salads.

With live music on select evenings, big screen sporting events, and a vibrant social atmosphere, Marina Tavern is the perfect place for families, groups, and locals to unwind. Your Role

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be part of a fast-paced team delivering friendly and efficient service across the bistro, bar, and gaming areas. You’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring all service standards are consistently met.

  • Provide friendly and efficient service across the bistro, bar, and sports bar

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Ensure compliance with RSA requirements at all times

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment

  • Contribute to a positive team culture and guest experience

What we’re looking for

You are a motivated hospitality professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, social environment. You bring a positive attitude and a strong focus on customer service, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Previous experience in hospitality – bar, restaurant, or gaming preferred

  • Current QLD RSA Certificate (essential)

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

  • A valid driver’s licence (desirable)
