Due to continued growth across Queensland, Linkforce is seeking experienced Leading Hands to work at our operation in the Bowen Basin. This is a casual position offered on an ongoing long-term roster working a lifestyle-friendly 7/7 roster. October start.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Leading Hands to lead our close-knit, high-performing team, delivering efficient and compliant structural remediation and maintenance services to the onsite Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading works to ensure all is completed to the client and company specifications
• Leading a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables
• Liaising with Linkforce clients and site-based personnel
• Planning and scheduling work and labour requirements
• Monitoring progress against the work schedule
• Leading by example on the tools, promoting safety, quality workmanship, and productive work
• Ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures

What You’ll Need

We are looking for qualified and safety-focused Leadiong Hands who thrive in fast-paced shutdown and maintenance environments.

Essential:

• Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in Shutdown as a Leading Hand
• Heavy Fabrication trade qualification (AU recognised)
• G1/8/9 (previously S1/2/3) & G2 supervisor competencies
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
• Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
• BMA Core Inductions or SC Number is Highly Advantageous
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence - C class minimum
• Clear communication and people skills
• Ability to work effectively with site management and clients
• An uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safety
