We're looking for a Front of House Supervisor to support our Scarborough venue - one of our beautiful beachside locations where exceptional customer service, community and premium presentation come together to create the Alchemy experience.

What you'll be doing

As Front of House Supervisor, you'll lead by example - supporting your team, creating exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the venue consistently meets Alchemy's premium standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day operation of the Scarborough venue.
• Delivering a warm, welcoming and memorable experience for every member and guest.
• Coaching, mentoring and supporting Front of House team members.
• Assisting with training new employees.
• Acting as the key link between the venue team and upper management.
• Supporting bookings and day-to-day operational requirements.
• Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and presentation across all areas of the venue.
• Participating in regular cleaning, sanitisation and deep cleaning tasks alongside your team.
• Ensuring all team members take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
• Confidently resolving member enquiries and supporting positive outcomes.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who leads with positivity, takes initiative and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, fitness, wellness or another customer-focused environment.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence making decisions and solving problems.
• High attention to detail and pride in maintaining exceptional venue standards.
• A willingness to lead by example, including participating in cleaning and operational tasks throughout every shift.
• A genuine commitment to creating a positive team culture and member experience.

Please note

This is a physically active role. Alongside leading the team, Front of House Supervisors are actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the venue, including regular cleaning, venue presentation and operational duties that help maintain Alchemy's premium standards.

Our venues operate from early morning through to late evening. Team members may be rostered shifts commencing as early as 5:30am and finishing as late as 11:00pm, including weekends and public holidays.
