We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team and play an important role in the continued growth of our bakery operations.

The Role

As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and production of a range of fresh pastries and bakery products across our stores.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and producing a range of pastries, Danish, croissants and other bakery products
• Working with laminated doughs and ensuring consistent quality and presentation
• Preparing fillings, creams, custards, glazes and other pastry components
• Following recipes, production procedures and quality standards
• Maintaining consistency across all products and locations
• Managing daily pastry production and ensuring products are prepared on schedule
• Monitoring stock levels and minimising wastage
• Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe production environment
• Contributing new ideas and seasonal products to our range
• Working closely with management to improve production efficiency and product quality
• Ensuring all food safety and workplace health and safety standards are followed

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous professional pastry chef or pastry cook experience
• Has strong knowledge of pastry production and baking techniques
• Has experience working with laminated doughs and viennoiserie
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Takes genuine pride in presentation and product quality
• Can work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Is reliable, organised and punctual
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Can work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities
• Is passionate about developing their skills and creating exceptional products
