Summary:

Design-focused architecture practice seeks a talented Graduate of Architecture with strong Revit skills to work across a diverse range of architectural projects.

ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Our client is an established Sydney-based architecture practice with a strong focus on leadership, community and wellbeing. The studio delivers a diverse range of architectural projects, with an emphasis on thoughtful design, quality documentation and positive outcomes for clients and communities.

With a collaborative studio environment, the practice provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Graduate of Architecture looking to develop their technical and design capabilities while working closely with experienced Architects and Project Directors.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.

This architecture practice is seeking a motivated Graduate of Architecture with a minimum of 3 years' industry experience to join its Sydney studio.

Working as part of a collaborative project team, you will be involved across multiple stages of architectural projects, including master planning, concept design, detailed design, documentation and some contract administration.

The responsibilities include:

  • Prepare architectural drawings across concept design, detailed design and construction documentation stages
  • Produce high-quality architectural documentation using Revit
  • Assist with master planning, design development and graphic presentations
  • Coordinate with external consultants and maintain clear project communication
  • Undertake precedent, product, material and technical research
  • Work within established project programmes and budgets
  • Apply relevant building codes, regulations, standards and industry best practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records
  • Work collaboratively with Project Directors, Senior Architects and other members of the project team
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and personally review work before submitting it to senior team members
  • Assist with general studio and project delivery requirements as required
  • Continue developing your architectural knowledge and work towards professional registration

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

  • Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working within an architectural practice
  • Strong Revit skills with experience producing concept, detailed design and construction documentation
  • Experience working across a variety of building typologies
  • Good understanding of architectural design, documentation and drafting conventions
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and Australian Standards
  • Strong communication and consultant coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively within project programmes and budgets
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Honest, reliable and accountable
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and working towards architectural registration
