ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Eva Burrows College (The Salvation Army) is seeking a friendly, organised and customer focused individual to join our team as a College Services and Customer Support Officer.
In this highly varied role, you will be the welcoming face of the College, providing high-quality customer service to students, staff, visitors and conference/event users. You will support students across the full lifecycle, assist with administrative processes, and help ensure the smooth operation of our campus, events and accommodation.
The opportunity is permanent, part-time (17.4 hours a week) onsite position with some flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver front‑of‑house customer service across reception, phone, email and online channels.
- Assist students with admissions, enrolment, course information, LMS access and general enquiries.
- Maintain student records and ensure data accuracy in CRM and Student Management Systems.
- Support learning content and LMS updates, navigation and tier‑1 troubleshooting.
- Drive engagement activities including outbound campaigns and retention/alumni support.
- Provide campus and event support including bookings, administrative tasks, security access and basic IT/AV assistance.
About you:
You are approachable, organised and confident working in a busy, customer focused environment. You enjoy helping people, learning new systems, and working collaboratively with others. Experience in education sector, customer service or administration is highly valued.
What we offer:

- On site parking.
- Generous Paid Parental leave for primary (12 weeks) & secondary carers, Purchased Leave Scheme (up to 8 weeks) and 5 days paid leave per year to experience working in other TSA programs or activities.
- Salvos Rewards - Access to exclusive financial, retail and lifestyle discounts and benefits.
- Novated car leasing, discounts on car hire and purchase.
If you are passionate about providing excellent service and want to be part of a team that makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
