Full job description

Casual | Initially ~25 hours/week | Work from home + community-based

Paid under the SCHADS Award | Negotiable start

---

Albury-Wodonga sits right on the border, which means the people you'd be supporting might be in NSW one day and Victoria the next. It's a genuinely unique place to do this work - community-connected, regional in feel and with real need for skilled, committed Support Coordinators.

That's where Jeder comes in. We're a national collective of practitioners who work without hierarchy, without head offices, and without the red tape that gets between good practitioners and good practice. We're looking for a CoS who wants to serve this community well.

---

WHAT THE ROLE LOOKS LIKE

You'll work alongside NDIS participants across the Albury-Wodonga region to help them understand their plans, connect with supports that fit their lives, and build the confidence to navigate the NDIS on their own terms.

Day to day, you'll be:

- Helping participants understand and get the most from their NDIS plans

- Connecting people with services, community supports and informal networks that fit where they live and how they want to live

- Navigating cross-border complexity between NSW and VIC supports and services

- Coordinating complex, multi-provider supports alongside mainstream services

- Monitoring plan budgets across a 12-month cycle

- Completing service agreements, referrals, risk assessments and NDIA reports

- Supporting participants through plan reviews - goals, documentation, advocacy

A CoS is not a rostering service, a personal care worker, or a paid advocate.

This work is about building independence, not dependency.

---

ABOUT YOU

You'll feel at home here if:

- You have a Diploma or Certificate IV in Community Services, Community Development, Disability, or equivalent relevant experience

- You know the NDIS well - ideally across both NSW and VIC contexts

- You know what it's like to support people in a regional context - the gaps, the distances, and the strengths that communities like Wagga bring

- You're experienced supporting people with mental health and/or psychosocial conditions - Recovery Coaching background is a bonus

- You're a clear, warm communicator who doesn't lose the thread when things get complicated

- You can manage your own priorities and workflow without close supervision

- You genuinely believe in a strengths-based, person-centred approach

Training in Person-Centred Thinking, ABCD or Art of Hosting is a plus

---

HOW PAY WORKS

This role is paid under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS Award MA000100) at the appropriate classification level based on your qualifications and experience.

---

WHAT YOU'LL GET

- Flexible work from home and in the community

- A coaching team to support you from day one

- Biannual Gatherings with the full Jeder community - one online, one face-to-face - to connect with people doing similar work across the country

- A genuine Level 3 / Specialist Support Coordination pathway

- A workplace that means what it says

---

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (national)

- Working with Children Check (NSW)

- National Police Check (no older than 2 years)

- Right to work in Australia
