Your new role:
As a Peer Support Worker, you will use your personal lived experience of mental health and/or substance use recovery to provide genuine peer support that empowers consumers on their own recovery journey. Working as part of a multidisciplinary Community Care Unit team, you will build hope, promote recovery-oriented practice and help consumers develop the confidence, skills and connections needed to live meaningful lives.

The Process

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual employment opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Talent Pool for a period of three (3) months and you may be contacted by Metro South Health (MSH) at the time an opportunity arises matching your qualifications and/or experience.

MSH may request your participation in other recruitment selection processes (eg: interview, reference checks and preemployment checks) to further determine suitability for appointment to a specific position.
