Full job description

We are seeking a compassionate and deliciated Community Support Worker . Locally owned business operating in all areas of ACT and Queanbeyan. If you are passionate about helping others and making a positive difference in the community, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity. Considering both casual and permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication supervision.
  • Assisting clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities and transport.
  • Monitoring and documenting clients' progress and reporting any changes in their condition to the office.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients by following proper infection control procedures and other safety protocols.

Successful candidate must hold:
- Certificate III or IV in individual support
- 3 years experience in community
- Recent First aid + CPR
- WWVP

- Police check

- driving license

- Manual handling certificate

-A keen willingness to help participants remain living independent in their own home.
