About the role:

Working within your local area, you will be supported by a dedicated Care Manager and experienced team, to assist our clients to remain living independently in their own homes. We establish tight-knit care teams by endeavoring to match clients with carers and nurses who have compatible interests to support our clients with:

  • Personal care such as showering, dressing, and helping with personal hygiene
  • Palliative care
  • Shopping
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Household cleaning
  • Attending appointments or activities within the community
  • Social support and companionship

Available employment/shifts:

  • Casual positions available
  • Base rate of $43.15 per hour (including casual loading) + penalty rates on weekends and public holidays
  • Work hours that suit your lifestyle – shifts vary from 2 hours to 24 hours in length.
  • Must have availability to work at least 10 hours per week
  • Shifts are available for qualified carers across Melbourne.

  • If you happen to speak another language, please include this in your application. In particular, we are seeking fluent German, Greek and Italian speakers.

We are looking for people who have:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (for a Carer role)
  • At least 12 months qualified experience in Aged Care / Home Care, ideally in acute setting, residential or community.
  • A passion for caring for people and delivering a high standard of care.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Access to a smartphone.
  • A current driver’s license and access to a registered, insured and well-presented car.
  • The right to work in Australia & can obtain a satisfactory Police Check.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
