We are looking for a help desk technician (Tier 2) to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software. As a help desk technician, you are responsible for responding to email, chat, or phone queries and offering technical support to our staffs nationwide. The position is based in our Richlands office in QLD.
- Offering technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Create, modify, and manage user accounts and access permissions across Active Directory and cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, including upgrades and updates
- scanner fleet issues.
- Work with third-party vendors for root-cause analysis and hardware repairs
- Training computer users.
- Training other staff on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or remotely)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Testing new technology
- Running reports and analysing common complaints and problems.
We are looking for someone with qualification in information technology with minimum 3 years of related experiences, be well-versed in all aspects of computer systems configuration, set up, and maintenance as well as having excellent interpersonal and communication skills. This is a full-time position and the salary on offer is between $80K - $90K depending on experiences.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
