Griffin Marine Services Pty Ltd, a leading provider of marine services to Defence and commercial operators, is seeking Trade Assistants to join our growing team.

We have casual and full-time opportunities available for Trade Assistants in our WA based team working across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist tradespeople with various tasks such as maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with PPE requirements in an industrial environment
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
  • Utilise hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced professionals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines
  • Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work 38+ hours per week
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
  • Previous experience using hand tools or power tools (Desirable)
  • Valid Confined Space, Working at Heights, EWP, Forklift and Fire Sentry tickets (Desirable)
  • Possess an OHS Construction Induction - White Card (Required)
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • Ability to hold and obtain a National Police Clearance and Defence Common Access Card (DCAC) (Required)
