About the opportunity:

Kickstart your construction career with MJH Group as a Cadet Construction Supervisor in the ACT region. Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll spend time on site, learning directly from experienced Supervisors, while gaining exposure to all areas of the business, from estimating and drafting to procurement and construction.

  • Complete on-the-job training across four key blocks, covering scheduling, inspections, trade coordination, handovers and client liaison
  • Rotate through key departments including estimating, drafting, construction, aftercare and customer service
  • Attend supplier and contractor meetings to build your industry knowledge
  • Develop skills in project management, planning, quality, safety and technology
  • Support the team with day-to-day operational tasks and process improvements
  • Complete online and instructor-led training courses to strengthen your technical and professional skills

About you:
You’re passionate about building a career in residential construction and eager to learn from the ground up. In addition, you will demonstrate:
  • A tertiary/trades qualification in construction (or similar)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel between sites
  • A goal-oriented, self-motivated attitude and ability to work in a team
  • Customer service focus, problem-solving ability and leadership potential
