About the role
As part of our continued growth and preparation for upcoming AGR changes, we are increasing recruitment and looking for passionate customer service professionals to join our team. We have part-time and full time hybrid opportunities available for a Customer Service and Sales Consultant at our Melbourne CBD stores.
For part time this role is working 30 hours per week on a flexible rotating roster working Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday work. For full time working hours are 37.5 per week. The working hours rotate between 8am – 8pm and rostered hours after 5pm will be working from home shifts.

As the face of Medibank in your area, you will:
  • Help customers choose the right health cover and services.
  • Support them across multiple channels – in-store, over the phone, online, and in the community.
  • Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.
  • Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how we work.
Internally referred to as a Local Community Consultant, you will be a part of a geographically based, cross-functional teams, with a shared goal to build stronger community connections, deepen trust, and deliver more personalised support in your area.

What we’re looking for
You don’t need health insurance experience – we’ll teach you that. If you have skills in customer service, sales, health, retail, or community engagement, you could be a great addition to our team.

You are:
  • Great at building rapport and explaining things clearly.
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
  • A team player who is adaptable and proactive.
  • Detail-focused and committed to protecting customer privacy.
