About the role

Exciting permanent opportunity to lead procurement planning, development and negotiations across Corporate Goods & Services, managing professional services, catering, interpreter, stationery, cleaning, training and venue hire categories.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Support the Principal Procurement and Contracts Officer to provide a point of accountability and manage all aspects of corporate goods and services procurement, management and reporting within Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
Protection of Metro North reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability and transparency.
Ensure communication and consultation with key department personnel to ensure all procurement processes are compliant and inclusive, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring successful procurement outcomes.
