Exciting and unique venue needs to add to their already growing team.

Located in Bundoora in busy shopping location.

We are a Fusion of ideas. That includes; Restaurant, Sports Bar, Cocktail Bar and Function and Events Centre.

The role is for a reasonably experienced chef. Salary based on experience and proven worth.

We are currently on the lookout for an individual who believes that Hospitality is the career for them, and want to grow, and expand their skillset within the industry. We are looking for full-time candidates, up to 45 hours per week.

Those with Supervisory experience are encouraged, and those who want to develop are urged to apply. A supervisor role position may be offered to those who can prove they have what it takes.

We have a restaurant downstairs with a function room upstairs.

Full job description…

  • Experience in Cooking and preparation of all meals on our menu. Including steaks, salads, pastas woodfire pizzas. Training can still be provided in some areas.
  • Help with Designing menus including seasonal menus, daily/weekly specials and selecting plate presentation
  • Overseeing delivery of stock of food and equipment supplies and assist with purchase orders
  • Ensuring freshness and quality in the ingredients and preparation of meals
  • staff and communicate performance and development issues on a regular basis
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and bring fresh ideas to help a smooth running of the kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook foods for dining and function service
  • Implementing and enforcing hygiene regulations and examining
  • Food stocktaking procedures and waste management
  • Day to day temperature check
  • Provide and record a program of basic training for all new members of
  • Manage the team of kitchen staff during service
