We're seeking a Kitchen hand / Food Beverage Level 1 at our busy location Chermside and Stafford. Application open to all including Juniors where Junior rate of pay will apply.

• Be available 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Sunday, a must (therefore not suitable if you're still in high school).
• Have at least 12 months in busy (ideally a café or a restaurant) commercial kitchen experience working with equipment & knives.
• Be seeking long term or able to maintain more than 12 months employment.
• Complete all screening questions when you apply.
• Be available to accommodate a 7-day roster from open to close. Available both days on Weekends and

Public Holidays is a must. We will consider students currently studying Commercial Cookery or Similar Course.

What is the role?

• You will be working with our kitchen team as a Kitchen Hand to ensuring our customers have an amazing food experience. Also with our front of house team as a Food & Beverage Attendant Level 1 to ensuring our customers have an amazing service experience.
• You will be responsible for assisting the cook, washing dishes, food preparation, some front of house duties such as clearing & cleaning tables, other cleaning duties to ensuring the store remains at the highest level of hygiene.
• This is a casual position with up to approximately 38 hours per a week for the right candidate, up to 24 hours per week for current commercial cookery students.

About you:

• Knowledge of food safety.
• Strong communication skill is an absolute must and a team player.
• Recently worked in a similarly high volume café.
• Available to accommodate a 7 days rotating roster from open to close.
• Willing to learn and perform duties in other areas of the Café.
• Able to fill shift on short notice.

• Live locally or a reasonable distance to Chermside on the Northside of Brisbane.

Store trading hours

• Monday to Sunday 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Thursday 8:00am to 9:00pm
